UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 Notification: EWS reservation notice for eligible candidates released

As per the notice released by UPSC, candidates eligible to avail the benefit of 10% EWS quota must get their EWS Certificate ready by 1st August 2019.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a latest notice pertaining to EWS Category candidates who’re gearing up for the upcoming Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2019. As per the notice released by UPSC, candidates eligible to avail the benefit of 10% EWS quota must get their EWS Certificate ready by 1st August 2019. “Candidates who wish to apply under EWS category are requested to get their EWS Certificate ready by 1st August, 2019” read the note Civil Services (P) Exam 2019 – (Application Submission and EWS related Important Notice). Also, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has urged the candidates who’ve filled the Part-I of the application form, to complete the Part-II as well and submit their applications in due time, and not wait for the closing date to avoid last minute-rush. “Candidates who have completed Part-I of application form are requested to complete Part-II and submit the application, immediately, in order to avoid last days rush” read the Important Notice. Also, applicants must know that there is a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the examination centres (except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur). Allotment of Exam Centres for UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) exam 2019 will be done on the 'first-apply-first allot' basis. Once the capacity of a particular Exam Centre is reached, no further allotments will be done for that particular centre. Thereby, applicants must apply for the Exam Centre they wish to appear in, at the earliest. UPSC had notified a total of 896 vacancies for various posts of Civil Services, last month, and the online application process for the same commenced on 19th February 2019. The last date to submit the online applications is 18th March 2019, 6pm. Civil Services aspirants must apply for the UPSC CSE 2019 Preliminary Examination in order to participate in one of the toughest competitive exam of the country. Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination, followed by Interview.
