The registration window for Tamil Nadu National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (TN NEET PG 2023) counselling will be closed today at 5 PM. Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research Selection Committee extended the last date for registration after receiving several representations from students. Eligible candidates interested in participating in the TN NEET PG counselling 2023 must register on the official website at tnmedicalselection.net.

The counselling process aims to facilitate admission to postgraduate medical courses offered by various Tamil Nadu medical colleges. Two distinct types of merit lists will be issued by the TN DME: one for government quota seats and another for management quota seats.

During the application process for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2023, candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs 3,000. However, certain categories such as SC, ST, and SC (Arunthathiyar) are exempted from paying this fee.

Additionally, all candidates, irrespective of their category, must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 while registering for the counselling process.

Apart from the application and registration fees, candidates will also need to pay a security deposit based on the quota they are applying for. The security deposit will be refunded to candidates who do not secure a seat in any phase of counselling within three months after the conclusion of the entire counselling process. However, no interest amount will be paid on the security deposit. The security deposit amounts are as follows:

1. For government medical colleges: Rs 30,000.
2. For government quota in self-financing medical colleges: Rs 1,00,000.

- Click on the link that reads 'CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR PG DEGREE/ DIPLOMA COURSES (GOVERNMENT / MANAGEMENT QUOTA) 2023 - 2024 SESSION'.
- Click on the Online application link.
- Now click on 'Click here for new registration'.
- Fill the required details and register.
- Login and fill the application form.
- Submit the application fees.
- Submit form and download the confirmation page.
