UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 Released On upsc.gov.in; PDF Direct Link

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 is now available on the official website at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission has released the preliminary results for the Civil Services Examination 2024 today, July 1, 2024. Students can check their results from the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov. UPSC Prelims Exam was conducted by the commission on June 16, 2024, in two shifts. Over 13.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.

"The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the Commission," UPSC said in a notice. 

This year, UPSC aims to fill 1056 vacancies in the central government services and departments through the recruitment examinations. Out of these, 40 positions are set aside for candidates with disabilities. Once released, candidates can download their admit card from the official website at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: How To Check And Download?

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to check and download the UPSC CSE Result 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the section which reads 'What's New'.

Step 3: Click on the link that reads 'UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024'.

Step 4: A pdf will open on your screen.

Step 5: Check your roll number in the list.

Step 6: If your roll number is present in the list, save the file or print it for future reference.

The UPSC Prelims examination consisted of objective-type questions with four options, totaling 400 marks. Successful candidates will qualify for the next phase: the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024, followed by the Interview or Personality Test.
