UP Board Results 2021: The result of Uttar Pradesh class 10th and 12th board exams will be released by the end of this month i.e. on or before July 31. Although there is no official update on the exact result declaration date and time. At the same time, according to the order of the Supreme Court, the last date for the declaration of board exam results is July 31.

56 lakh students of 10th and 12th are waiting for the result.

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will declare the class 10 and class 12 results on the official websites results.upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. Students will need their roll number to download the result. This year more than 56 lakh students have registered for the exam, which includes around 29,94,312 for class 12 and 26,09,501 for class 10 board exam.

It is noteworthy that like CBSE and other state boards, the UP board had also canceled the exam due to the second wave of Covid-19. Earlier it was being said that the results would be declared on July 15, however, the board has not yet announced the exact dates of the results.

After the cancellation of the exam, the UP Board had announced alternative evaluation schemes according to which the performance of the students in the previous examinations is to be considered for preparing the result. UPMSP will use the 50:40:10 formula for class 12 results. That means 50 percent marks will be from class 10, 40 percent marks will be from class 11 annual exam or half-yearly exam. The remaining 10 percent marks will be from the 12th pre-board examination. On the other hand, the result of UP Board 10th will be based on the 50:50 formula. In this, 50 percent weightage has been given to marks obtained in class 9 and 50 percent weightage to marks obtained in class 10 pre-board examination.
