Tamil Nadu Class 11 Results Declared At tnresults.nic.in: 92.09% Students Pass, Girls Outperform Boys

Tamil Nadu 11th Result 2025: In terms of academic excellence, 3,535 students scored a perfect 100 in Computer Science, followed by 1,338 students in Mathematics and 806 in Commerce.

Tamil Nadu 11th Result 2025: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations declared the Class 11 results on Friday, marking a slight improvement in the overall pass percentage compared to last year. The announcement came shortly after School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi held a press conference in which he officially released the results for both Class 10 and Class 11. The Class 11 individual results were made available online from 2 PM, following the release of Class 10 results at 10 AM.

  • Visit the official result website: tnresults.nic.in.
  • Select the link for “Class 11 Exam Result”.
  • Enter your registration number, date of birth, and any other requested information.
  • Submit the details to view your result.
  • Download or take a printout of the result for your records.

The Class 11 marksheet will contain details of subjectwise marks, practical marks, registration number, subjects and other details. 

Tamil Nadu 11th Result 2025

This year’s Class 11 exams were held from March 5 to March 27, 2025. A total of 8,07,098 students appeared for the exams, including 4,24,610 girls and 3,82,488 boys. Of these, 7,43,232 students passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to 92.09%, up from 91.17% in March 2024 — a rise of 0.92%.

Female students continued to outperform their male counterparts, with 95.13% of girls passing the exam compared to 88.70% of boys — a margin of 6.43 percentage points. The number of students absent from the exams stood at 11,025.

In terms of academic excellence, 3,535 students scored a perfect 100 in Computer Science, followed by 1,338 students in Mathematics and 806 in Commerce.

Among the 7,558 Higher Secondary Schools across the state, 2,042 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, including 282 government schools.

Government schools in districts like Ariyalur, Erode, Nagapattinam, Virudhunagar, and Sivaganga led the state in terms of top-performing government institutions.
