Tamil Nadu Class 10, 11 Results To Be Declared On May 16: Ways To Check Scores

Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) results will be released at 9:00 AM, while the Class 11 (HSE +1) results will be available from 2:00 PM.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has announced that the results for 2024–25 academic year’s SSLC (Class 10) and HSE +1 (Class 11) public examinations will be declared on Friday, May 16, 2025. The SSLC results will be released at 9:00 AM, while the HSE +1 results will be available from 2:00 PM.

The announcement will be made by Minister of School Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, at the Directorate’s office in the Professor Anbazhagan Educational Complex, Chennai. The Minister confirmed the timing via an official statement, stating that the results are being published under the directive of Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Taking to X, TN Education Minister Anbil Mahesh said, "As per the orders of the Hon'ble Chief Minister @mkstalin we are publishing the results of the 10th class public examinations for the academic year 2024-25 on 16.05.2025 at 9 am."

How To Check TN Class 10, 11 Results 

  • Students can check their results online through the following official websites: https://tnresults.nic.in/ and https://result.digilocker.gov.in/
  • To access the results, students will need to enter the official website. 
  • Click on the tab Class 10 exam result or Class 11 exam result
  • Type the registration number, date of birth, and any other required details.
  • Download the result for future references.

Other Ways To Check Results

The students can also check results through other methods. The alternate result access include: SMS alerts to the registered mobile numbers and notice boards at respective schools.

This year, over 9 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams, and nearly 8 lakh students took the Class 11 exams, as per a report on The Mint. In total, more than 17 lakh students across Tamil Nadu will receive their results on Friday.
