KVS Admission 2023: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the registration process for Class 1 admission for 2023-24 academic year. Parents can register their children through the official website of KVS at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. The registration process will conclude on April 17 at 7 pm.

KVS Class 1 Admission 2023 Schedule:

Events	Dates
Online registration for Class 1	March 27, 2023 (10 am)
Last date of online registration for Class 1	April 17, 2023 (7 pm)
Declaration of provisional select and waitlist of registered candidates	April 20, 2023
Admission of eligible candidates of the selected list	April 21, 2023

Eligibility Criteria:

A Child must be 6 years old for Class I as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

Reservations In Admission:

A. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe And Other Backward Classes Category:

15% seats for Scheduled Caste, 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes and 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) shall be reserved in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.

B. Differently Abled Category:

3% seats of the total available seats for fresh admission will be horizontally Reserved for differently abled-children.

Parents can apply online through the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of KVS at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that says "click here to register".

Step 3: Fill the required details and generate a login.

Step 4: Now login and fill the required details in the application form.

Step 5: Upload the required documents.

Step 6: Submit the application form.

Step 7: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future reference.

In case seats remain vacant after 30th June as the case may be, in the year of admission, the Deputy Commissioner of the Region is empowered to allow admissions up to the prescribed strength as per priorities in admission up to July 31, 2023.
