Assam HSLC Results Out on @sebaonline.org. Boys Record Higher Pass Percentage

ASSAM HSLC Results Out: Assam's SEBA has released the HSLC exam results. Students must visit the official websites to access their scorecards by entering their roll numbers.

Assam SEBA HSLC Results News: The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has released the High School Leaving Certificate exam results for Class 10 students in the state. The overall pass percentage was relatively low at 63.98%. Boys: 67.59% and Girls: 61.09%.

Assam HSLC Results Out: Top Districts

Among the districts that recorded the highest pass percentage were Sivasagar (85.55%), Dibrugarh (81.1%), and Dhemaji (80.64%). Sribhumi recorded the lowest pass percentage of 47.96%.

A total of 4,22,737 candidates appeared for the exams in 2025, of which 2,70,471 students cleared the exam.

A total of 89,041 students secured 1st division, 1,35,568 candidates cleared the exams in the 2nd division, and 45,862 students secured the 3rd division.

HSLC Results 2025 Toppers

The top three candidates were from Jorhat and Kamrup (Metro) districts.

  • Amishi Saikia from Jorhat emerged as the topper with 98.51%. 
  • Saptarswa Bordoloi from Noonmati, Guwahati (Kamrup-Metro), was the second-ranked candidate with 98.33%.
  • Anirban Borgohain from Jorhat secured the 3rd rank with 98.17%. 

How To Check HSLC Results 2025? 

The SEBA Class 10 theory exams were held between February 15 and March 3. The practical exams were conducted on January 21 and 22. Students will be required to score at least 30% overall as well as individually in the theory and practical exams to pass.

The results will be declared at a press conference by the chairman of the Board. This will be followed by the release of the scorecards on the Board's websites  

Important Details On Online Marksheet

The result will initially be available in the form of a provisional digital mark sheet, which will display key information, including the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks  

Students should be aware that this online version is for reference only and is provincial in nature. The official hard copy of the mark sheet must be collected later from their respective schools.

SEBA HSLC Results 2024

To give some perspective, SEBA announced the Class 10 results last year on April 20, 2024. The examinations took place from February 16 to March 4, and the overall performance saw a significant improvement:

  • Total students appeared: 4,19,078
  • Total passed: 3,17,317
  • First division holders: 1,05,873
  • Overall pass percentage: 75.7%
  • Boys' pass percentage: 77.3%
  • Girls' pass percentage: 74.4% 

Anurag Doloi from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat topped the SEBA Class 10 exams in 2024 with a whopping 593 marks out of 600, scoring an impressive 98.93%.
