PGIMER Recruitment 2019: Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGMIER), Chandigarh has announced the recruitment process for 134 Assistant Professor vacancies on the official website – pgimer.edu.in. The premier medical institute is inviting applications via Advt. PGI/RC/2019/001/0050  from MD/MS candidates to fill a total of 121 Assistant Professor (Medical) posts and 13 Assistant Professor (Non-Medical) posts. The closing date to submit offline applications is 6th February 2019, 4PM. Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria viz essential qualification and experience varies for all posts, thereby candidates are suggested to read through the official advertisement given below to ascertain their eligibility for the post they wish to apply for. Age Limit: The applicant must be below 50 years of age as on 6th February 2019. Age relaxation rules apply for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PH+OBC/PH categories as given in the official advert. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an Interview in which a PowerPoint presentation of 5 minutes will be required to be presented by the candidates. Pay Scale: Assistant Professor (Medical): PB-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000/- with minimum pay of  Rs. 30,000/- (pre-revised) plus NPA (for medical personnel) further revised in Pay Matrix (Level-12) as per 7th CPC with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-. Assistant Professor (Non-Medical): PB-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000/- with minimum pay of  Rs. 30,000/- (pre-revised)  further revised in Pay Matrix (Level-12) with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-.
