Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Calls Pariksha Pe Charcha A Public Movement

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier informed that crores of students, teachers, and parents from India and abroad will be participating in the programme.

"Pariksha Pe Charcha is a much-awaited annual event in which the Prime Minister responds to questions related to examination stress and related areas posed by students in his uniquely engaging style in a live programme," Dharmendra Pradhan had said, as quoted by ANU.

He called Pariksha pe Charcha a public movement and emphasised the importance of this year's edition in wake of the country coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and exams shifting back to offline mode.

As per the Education Minister, initiatives like these are important in building the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century, he said the programme is becoming a formal institution through which Prime Minister interacts directly with the students.

According to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office, 2,050 participants have been selected through various competitions. "They will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit comprising Exam Warriors book written by the Prime Minister," it mentioned.
