NATA 2019 Registration process will kick off on Thursday, 24th January 2019, 10 am, this week, on the official website of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) - nata.in. The  Council of Architecture (CoA) is scheduled to organize the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) twice from this year, viz, the first attempt exam for NATA 2019 will be held on Sunday, 14th April 2019 and then on Sunday, 7th July 2019, for candidates seeking admissions to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree course in the academic session 2019-20. Candidates who miss out or do not perform well in the first attempt, will have a second chance to either appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or improve upon their score in the second attempt. “Candidates opting to appear in both the first and second test separately may note that they will be issued with the score card, containing the best of two test’s composite marks (composite marks are the marks secured in both part A and part B taken together in a Test),” read a note on the Information Brochure of NATA 2019. NATA 2019 – Important Dates: NATA 2019 – First Test Online Registration begins - 24th January 2019 Online Registration ends - 11th March 2019 (11:59 PM) Candidate Correction window – 12th to 15th March 2019 Publication of Downloadable Admit Card - 1st April 2019 Date and Time of Examination - 14th April 2019 (10 AM to 01:15 PM) Publication of Results - 3rd May 2019 NATA 2019 – Second Test Online Registration begins - 24th January 2019 Online Registration ends - 12th June 2019 (11:59 PM) Candidate Correction window – 15th to 17th June 2019 Publication of Downloadable Admit Card – 24th June 2019 Date and Time of Examination - 07th July 2019 (10 AM to 01:15 PM) Publication of Results - 21st  July 2019 Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination. Application Fee: General Category: Single Exam: Rs.1800 Both Exams: Rs.3500 SC/ST: Single Exam: Rs.1500 Both Exams: Rs.2800 NATA 2019: Exam pattern Part A (120 marks) – Online Mathematics – 20 questions – total 40 marks (20×2= 40 marks) General Aptitude – 40 questions – total 80 marks (40×2= 80 marks) Part B (80 marks) – Paper Based Drawings – 2 questions – total 80 marks (2x40 = 80 marks) To qualify NATA 2019, a candidate must fulfil the below 3 criteria:
  1. Candidate needs to score minimum 25% in MCQ portion (30 out of 120) i.e. Part A
  2. Candidate needs to score minimum 25% in Drawing portion (20 out of 80) i.e. Part B
  3. S/he must secure overall qualifying marks (out of 200) as declared by the council after the post-exam statistics.
