UPSC Civil Services Notification 2020 Out! 796 Vacancies On Offer; Check Eligibility, Application Fee

The online application for UPSC CSE 2020 has begun from today and the application process will conclude on March 3, 2020. The application forms are available on the official websites, upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC notification 2020: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for recruitment to the services and posts like IAS, IPS, IFS. The online application for UPSC CSE 2020 has begun from today and the application process will conclude on March 3, 2020. The application forms are available on the official websites, upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in. The number of vacancies, according to the official notification, to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 796 which includes 24 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category. Last year, the UPSC had notified 896 vacancies in the Civil Services. The UPSC prelims of the Civil Services examination will be held on May 31, 2020. Those who will clear the prelims will have to later appear for the main exam followed by the interview round. The applicants will have a total of six attempts at the examination. Those belonging to SC, ST, PwD category and females are exempted from paying any fee. UPSC Civil Services notification 2020: Exam pattern UPSC preliminary exam consists of two papers- • Part I will constitute of 100 questions • Part II has 80 questions. • Both parts for 200 marks each and combine to form a 400 marks exam • For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted Those who get through UPSC Prelims and Mains will be hired as All-India Services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS. UPSC Civil Services eligibility • Age group - Candidates must be between the age of 21-32 years • The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to the reserved category as per the government rules • The candidate must have an undergraduate level degree can apply for these exams • The applicants need to fill two forms both available at the official website About UPSC The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India's premier central recruiting agency which is responsible for appointments to and examinations for all India services and group A & group B of central services.
