UP Police SI Recruitment 2023: Notification Out For 921 Posts, Applications To Begin From January 7

The online application process for the UP Police SI Recruitment 2023 will begin on January 7, and close on January 28, 2024.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the notification for the UP Police SI (Sub-Inspector) Recruitment 2023. The board notified the recruitment drive through an official notice on its website today. As per the official notification, the UPPBPB will conduct the UP Police SI Recruitment 2023 to fill a total of 921 vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector in the Uttar Pradesh Police. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can check the official recruitment notification on the official website - uppbpb.gov.in. 

As per the official notification, the online registration cum application forms for the recruitment drive and the payment of application fees online shall begin from January 7, 2024 onwards. The UPPBPB will close the online application process for the recruitment on January 28, 2024. Following the closure of the online application window, registered candidates will also be able to make changes to their applications online till January 30, 2024. Moreover, while applying for the recruitment, candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 400. Moreover, to apply for the recruitment, candidates must have passed their Class 12 from a recognised board or university.

The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done based on a written examination, PST (Physical Standards Test), PET (Physical Efficiency Test), and document verification. The written examination will be conducted in the online mode and consist of questions from four different sections. Each section shall consist of 100 marks, and the total marks for the written examination shall be 400. 

To clear the written examination, candidates will be required to score a minimum of 35% in each section, and 40% of the total marks. Those candidates who clear the written examination shall be eligible for the further recruitment rounds.
