UP Police Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced to recruit a total of 52,699 constable posts through direct recruitment.
UP Police Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is set to conduct direct recruitment for 52,699 constables posts, making it the largest recruitment drive in the history of the state police. The tender for selecting the executive organisation responsible for the written examination and other recruitment-related tasks will be published by July 15. Once the organisation is selected, the written examination will be conducted which is scheduled to be held by the end of this year. Initially, there were plans to recruit 33,757 posts, but due to a delay of 10 months in taking action, the number of posts has now increased to 52,699.
Selection Process
The selection process for the UP Police Constable 2022 Recruitment will include the following steps:
1. Offline Written Exam (OMR based): Candidates will have to appear for an offline written exam, which will be conducted in OMR format. The exam will assess the candidate's knowledge and aptitude in various subjects.
2. Document Verification: After the written exam, candidates who qualify will be called for document verification. They will need to provide the necessary documents to verify their eligibility, such as educational certificates, age proof, and caste/category certificates.
3. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who clear the written exam and document verification stage will undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST). This test will evaluate the physical fitness and standards of the candidates, including height, chest measurements, and physical endurance.

4. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully pass the PST will then undergo a medical examination. This examination will ensure that the candidates are medically fit to perform the duties associated with the constable post.
