SSC JE 2024 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the registration process for the junior engineer recruitment exam 2024. The commission will fill 968 posts across various departments. The SSC JE 2024 notification is available on the official website at ssc.gov.in. Interested candidates can apply online at ssc.gov.in. During the SSC JE application process, candidates must upload a scanned signature in JPEG format, with a file size between 10 to 20 KB. The commission specifies that the signature image should be approximately 4 cm in width and 2 cm in height.

Scheduled from June 4 to June 6, SSC JE paper 1 is part of Group B non-gazetted, non-ministerial roles. Successful candidates will receive a salary package aligned with the 7th Central Pay Commission's pay matrix, ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.

A registration fee of Rs 100 is applicable for all applicants, except for women, SC, ST, PwD, and ex-servicemen, who are exempted from payment. SSC has set August 1, 2024, as the age reckoning date and announced relaxation in age limits for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
