SSC CGL 2024 Registration Window Closes Today On ssc.gov.in, Know How To Apply

SSC CGL 2024: Interested candidates can participate in the registration process through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission, SSC will close the SSC CGL 2024 registration window today, July 24, 2024. Interested candidates can participate in the registration process through the official website at ssc.gov.in. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 17,727 vacancies for various 'Group B' and 'Group C' positions across various ministries, organisations and departments of Government of India. After the application deadline, a correction window will be available from August 10 to 11, 2024, during which candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their SSC CGL application form.

"The Commission makes final allotment of posts on the basis of merit-cumpreferences of Posts given by the candidates, and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfillment of any post-specific requirements of physical/medical/ educational standards, etc," the official notice reads.

SSC CGL 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to participate in the SSC CGL registration 2024: 

Step 1: Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in. 

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the 'Apply' tab.

Step 3: Now, navigate to the link that reads 'Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024'.

Step 4: Fill out the SSC CGL application form.

Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents.

Step 6: Pay the required application fee.

Step 7: Review your application form and click on 'Submit'.

Step 8: Download the confirmation page for your future reference.

SSC CGL 2024: Category-Wise Age Relaxation Permissible Beyond Upper Age Limit

Candidates can check the category-wise age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit below:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date
