Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2024: Applications For 224 Posts Underway On joinindianavy.gov.in, Apply By October 29

The shortlisting of candidates for the Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2024 shall be done on the basis on normalisation of marks scored by candidates in the qualifying examination.

Attention candidates! The online application process for Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2024 is underway. Interested and eligible candidates can participate in the recruitment drive by applying online on the official website - joinindianavy.gov.in. The last date to apply for the recruitment is October 29, 2023. The Indian Navy is conducting the recruitment drive to induct a total of 224 SSC (Short Service Commission) Officers for various entries for the June-2024 course. The Indian Navy started inviting applications for the recruitment drive from October 7, 2023 onwards. 

Interested candidates may note that the shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done on the basis of normalised scores of applicants in the qualifying degree. The normalisation of marks scored by candidates in the qualifying degree shall be done following the formula mentioned on the official website of the Indian Navy. Shortlisted candidates will join the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Kerala. For more details on the recruitment, interested candidates are advised to visit the official website.

Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Navy is inviting applications for the recruitment of SSCs under the Executive, Education, and Technical branches. Therefore, the eligibility criteria for posts under each of the branches vary from each other. For the Executive branch, candidates must possess BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks, while for the Education branch, interested candidates should have secured 60% marks in M.Sc. in relevant discipline. 

Candidates looking to apply for the Technical Branch should possess BE / B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in (i) Mechanical/Mechanical with Automation; Marine; Instrumentation; Production; Aeronautical; Industrial Engineering & Management; Control Engg; Aero Space; Automobiles; Metallurgy; Mechatronics; Instrumentation & Control. However, candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed official notification and ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria as laid by the Indian Navy.
