The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has started accepting applications for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can register for the Bihar Police Recruitment 2023 on the official website - csbc.bih.nic.in. The last date to register for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment is July 20, 2023. Notably, the CSBC is inviting applications to recruit a total of 21,391 constables in Bihar Police, Bihar Special Armed Police and other units of the state police. 

The recruitment process will consist of a two-stage process consisting of a written examination, followed by physical screening tests. As per the official notification, candidates who secure below the 30% aggregate marks in the written examination will not be called for the physical screening tests. The exam will be conducted in the offline mode and consists of a total 100 marks. Candidates will be allowed a maximum time limit of two hours to mark their responses in an OMR sheet. 

As notified, the exam syllabus shall consist of subjects up to Class 10 level which generally includes Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), General Knowledge, Current Affairs, etc. While the CSBS is yet to announce the written exam dates for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023, but the board is likely to notify teh exam dates soon after the closure of the application window. 

Candidates who have cleared their class 12 from a recognised board or university, and are of minimum 18 years age can register for the recruitment. The cut-off date for determining the age of candidates is August 1, 2023. While candidates must also not exceed the age of 25 years, the CSBc has also underlined some other eligibility criteria and prescribed which candidates must keep in mind before applying.
