The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) Bihar has launched a new official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in, where all recent updates will now be posted. For the many candidates awaiting the Bihar Police Constable Result 2024, the scorecards are expected to be released on this new website soon. The previous website, csbc.bih.nic.in, will no longer provide results or answer keys.

The Bihar Police Constable written exam took place on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28, covering all 38 districts in Bihar. Conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format, the exam included 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark, with no negative marking. Candidates were given two hours to complete the exam.

Step 1: Visit the CSBC’s new website, csbc.bihar.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the “Bihar Police” tab.

Step 3: Open the Constable written exam result page.

Step 4: Enter login details, if required.

Step 5: Submit to view your result.

The Bihar Police Constable exam, initially scheduled for October 1, 7, and 15, was postponed by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) following a paper leak incident. On October 1, several candidates were reportedly caught using electronic devices to cheat, leading to arrests and the subsequent cancellation of the exam.

Reports indicated that the question paper had been leaked a day prior, prompting CSBC to reschedule the exam to maintain its integrity. The re-exam was then conducted under strict monitoring across all districts to prevent any misuse of unfair means.

The selection process consists of four stages. Candidates first take an online written exam, and those who qualify move on to the physical standard test and physical efficiency test. Successful candidates then undergo document verification and a medical examination to confirm their eligibility for the available positions.
