AFCAT-1 Exam 2024: Last date To Apply Today On afcat.cdac.in

As per the official schedule, the AFCAT-1 2024 Exam will be held on February 16, 17 and 18, 2024.

The Indian Air Force will close the online application process for the AFCAT-1 Exam 2024 today. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their registration cum application forms on the official website - afcat.cdac.in. Besides filling the AFCAT application form with all required details, candidates will also be required to upload their photograph, signature, and thumb impression, while applying for the exam. Moreover, candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 550+ GST for all categories. Candidates can pay the application fee online through the payment gateway on the online application portal. 

After the closure of the AFCAT-1 2024 Application Window, candidates will also be able to edit their applications online. As per the official schedule, the AFCAT-1 2024 Exam will be held on February 16, 17 and 18, 2024. Notably, the Indian Air Force is conducting the AFCAT-1 2024 Exam to fill a total of 317 vacancies for its Flying and Ground Duty branches. The AFCAT is a national-level competitive examination conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year. 

To apply for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Non-technical) in the AFCAT-1 2024 Exam, candidates must have scored a minimum 50% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university. Moreover, candidates should also be aged between 20 to 24 years for applying in both these branches.

To apply for the ground Duty (Technical) branch, candidates must have scored a minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university. Furthermore, for the technical branches, candidates should be aged between 20 to 26 years. 

The shortlisting of Air Force staff through the AFCAT-1 2024 shall be done following a three stage selection process. Candidates will be first required to appear for the written examination, and those who clear the written examination shall be further called for AFSB interviews. In the final stage of the selection process, shortlisted candidates shall be further called for Medical Examination.   • In the new page that opens, register online filling your details
  • Fill in the AFCAT application form
  • Upload all relevant documents as prescribed
  • Pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
