30,000 Jobs Filled In 90 Days, Another 30,000 To Be Filled Within A Year: Telangana CM

Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy announced that the government is planning to fill 30,000 vacancies within the first year of his administration.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Friday that his government has filled 30,000 job vacancies within 90 days of assuming office and is on track to recruit an additional 30,000 youth within its first year, as reported by news agency PTI.

Speaking at the passing-out parade of a new batch of firemen, he highlighted that appointment letters were handed over to about 30,000 youth within 90 days of taking power in December last year. Furthermore, notifications have been issued to fill another 30,000 posts, including 11,000 teacher positions under the District Selection Committee (DSC), as well as roles in Group-1, Group-2, Group-3 state services, and other government departments.

"We are demonstrating our commitment by making over 60,000 appointments within one year of coming to power," Reddy stated.

Addressing recent protests calling for the postponement of certain competitive exams, the Chief Minister urged the youth not to protest but to engage directly with ministers to discuss their concerns. He assured that genuine issues brought to the government's attention would be resolved with commitment.

The chief minister also said the state budget for 2024-25 presented in the legislative assembly on July 25 laid emphasis on health, education, employment and irrigation.
