Education Can Remove Poverty From The Country: Delhi CM Kejriwal
At the inauguration event of School of Eminence in Punjab, Kejriwal emphasised the power of education as a strong tool to remove poverty from the country.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the common man of the country seeks quality education for their children and education can wipe out poverty from the country, news agency PTI reported. The remarks from the Delhi CM and AAP’s national convenor came during the inauguration ceremony of the School of Eminence in Ludhiana, Punjab. Stressing the role of education in poverty, Kejriwal launched the state-of-the-art facilities provided by the government in the Schools of Eminence in its bid to revamp education. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann was also present during the inauguration ceremony.
Mann and Kejriwal also toured Punjab and visited different Government schools there. Kejriwal addressed the importance of modern educational facilities to all sections of society, including children of labourers and farmers. He criticized the previous governments in the state for neglecting crucial sectors like Punjab's education and healthcare. “There is the only thing with which we can remove poverty in our country, and that is education. If we give our children a good education, they can become good citizens and lead the country on the path of progress,” Kejriwal was quoted as saying by PTI.
The event also saw Mann reaffirming the party's commitment to better governance, emphasizing a departure from divisive politics towards improving Punjab education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He also focussed on the importance of accountability and transparency in governance, promising to deliver on the promises made to the people of Punjab.

Kejriwal reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing public welfare by highlighting the joint efforts of both of the Chief Ministers in assessing government schools and healthcare facilities. He condemned the central government's withholding of Punjab's funds, focusing on the need for these resources to fuel developmental projects for the betterment of society.
Arvind Kejriwal also advised the people of Punjab to support AAP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, citing the party's track record of governance and its vision for inclusive progress. The inauguration of the School of Eminence portrays a commitment to accessible and quality education, reflecting a broader agenda of socio-economic empowerment championed by the AAP leadership in Punjab.
