Candidates who registered for DU UG Admissions 2023 will be able to check and download the DU UG First Merit List 2023 by logging into the DU CSAS portal.

The Delhi University has released the Undergraduate Merit List 2023 today. Candidates who registered for DU UG Admissions 2023 will be able to check the DU UG Merit List 2023 on the official website - admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates will also be able to check the Delhi University CUET-UG 2023 cut-off by logging into the DU CSAS portal using their login credentials. As per reports, over 7,000 students have been allotted seats as per their first preference, while around 22,000 students have been allocated seats within their first five preferences.

Following the release of DU UG First Merit List 2023, candidates who have been allotted seats will be required to accept their seats till August 4, 2023 (04:59 PM). Candidates will be able to accept their allotted seats by logging into the DU CSAS portal. Moreover, candidates accepting seats will also be required to pay their fees by August 6, 2023 (04:59 PM). The number of vacant seats for the DU UG CSAS Round 2 will be published on August 7, 2023. The DU UG Second Merit List will be released on August 10, while the third merit list will be released on August 22, 2023.

Candidates who are not happy with their seat allocation can also opt for ‘upgrade’ in the second round. However, in order to appear and participate in the second round, candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round must complete their admission process following their seat allocation in the first round.  Candidates may also note that those who have been offered multiple seats during the admission process in a particular round, must choose and accept admission in only one of the allocated seats. Failure to take any action or not accepting any of the offered seats will be considered as non-acceptance. As a result, the provisionally allocated seat will be forfeited, and the candidate will lose their eligibility to participate in subsequent rounds of CSAS (UG)-2023.

Notably, the Delhi University will be offering admissions to around 70,000 undergraduate seats at its various colleges this year. Around 3,04,699 students have registered on the CSAS UG portal this year, out of which, 2,45,235 students have successfully submitted their application forms.
