Delhi Permits Students From Class 9th-12th To Visit Schools From Sept 21, Subject To Written Consent By Parents

Unlock 4: Delhi government has said that in order to take guidance from teachers the students from class 9 to class 12th may visit schools on a voluntary basis, while for the rest of the class schools will remain closed till September 30.

Unlock 4 | Schools Colleges Reopening News: As the country has entered the fourth phase of its gradual unlock, Delhi government has decided to permit students from class 9 to class 12 to visit their schools from September 21. For the higher class students as well visit to schools has not been made mandatory and is on a voluntary basis. The step has been taken so that those facing problems in their courses can seek guidance from their teachers. “All schools to continue to remain closed till September 30. Students of classes 9 to 12 may be permitted to visit their schools, in areas outside containment zones only, on a voluntary basis, for taking guidance from their teachers,” the order states. The schools will reopen for them on September 21. Standard Operating Procedure for these schools will be soon issued by the Ministry of Health, which will be strictly adhered to. “This will be subjected to the written consent of their parents/guardians and will be permitted with effect from September 21 for which, SOP will be issued by the Health Ministry to be followed by the schools,” Delhi government said. Metro to begin from September 7: Check imp details The metro services will resume in phases and at the onset, the metro will be opened from 7 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 8 pm till September 10. It is to be noted that the yellow Line of Delhi Metro railways which operated from Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre will be opened in phase I. After taking a review of the operation and its impact, the DMRC will introduce Red Line (Ghaziabad to Rithala), the Bahadurgarh line, and the Faridabad line from September 10.  From September 11, the metro will operate between 7 am to 1 pm, 4 pm to 10 pm. On September 12, the Delhi Metro will operate from 6 am to 11 pm, and Airport Express Line will also reopen.  Other routes including Blue Line, Pink Line & Gurgaon Line will start operating from September 9.
