CLAT 2020 Results To Be Declared Today, Committee Not Likely To Re-Conduct The Exam

CLAT 2020 Results: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is set to release the results for the Common Law Admission Test 2020 (CLAT). Candidates can check their results once it has been released on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Followed by which, the counselling process will begin from October 9th onwards and will continue till October 15th, 2020. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the counselling process from October 9th to October 15th. Here’s how to check the result of CLAT 2020: 1. Go to the official website of the consortium of NLUs -- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 2. Click on the CLAT result 2020 link. 3. Enter in your login credentials. 4. Once you submit, your result will be displayed. 5. Download the CLAT 2020 result for future reference. The counselling schedule will be released shortly thereafter, qualified candidates will receive call letters for counselling and registration. During this time, candidates can select the NLU of their choice. According to media reports, the booking fee has been slashed by half, due to the on going pandemic. The fee will be adjusted to the tuition fee. CLAT 2020 cut off will be different for every institute, on the basis of different parameters these are sanctioned seat intake of national law universities, applications received for admission, candidates’ performance in CLAT exam, and choice selected by the candidates. Meanwhile, a press release was issued by the CNLUs after they received many petitions to re-conduct the exams. The petition was filed by CLAT 2020 aspirants citing issues faced by many candidates alleging technical glitches during the exam held on September 28. The petitioners have urged the top Court to direct the CLAT Consortium to set up a high powered committee to look into the complaints lodged and grievances raised by the students. However, CNLUs in the press release said “the technical problems raised by the CLAT-2020 candidates were closely examined. Service Provider is using the same software for 11 years and it has always worked perfectly in terms of the answers chosen by the candidates and the response sheet generated by the system. The Committee also noted that TCS iON is the most reputed Service Provider. It has track record of successfully conducting various National Level Admission Tests and the Recruitment Tests such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, NEET (PG), GATE, Banking Services Examinations and Railway Recruitment Board Examinations etc.” The committee also added that, the number of petitions was high as they didn’t charge a fee like the JEE NEET etc which charge Rs 1000/- and will do some from next year onwards.
