Will CBSE Declare Result On July 15? Here's What You Need To Know

CBSE Results 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is going to announce the results for classes 10th and 12th soon. Though the dates for the results are not confirmed yet, the CBSE board is likely to announce the CBSE Result dates in a few days. Lakhs of students are patiently waiting for the results to be released after the CBSE board decided to cancel the pending exams and provide the results according to the new marking scheme. ALSO READ|CBSE Board Class 10 And 12 Results 2020: Board Sends Sms To Students To Download Digilocker App For Access To Marksheet CBSE class 10th and 12 results will be declared on its official website cbse.nic.in but there are times the website hangs on the result days. Students can also check their results on the DigiLocker App.

Here are the steps to check your CBSE 10th and 12th Results 2020

  •  Go to the official results link hosted at cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in
  •  On the next page enter your exam details like roll number and date of birth.
  •  Submit the details and check your CBSE Board results for classes 10th and 12th.

How to check marksheets on DigiLocker

  • Download the Digilocker app on your mobile phones from Google play store/Appstore
  • Register your self- for this, you can use the mobile phone number used while filling CBSE application form or Aadhar card number. An OTP will be sent to you.
  • Once the OTP is filled, you will be prompted for a security pin
  • As directed by the Board, use roll number as security pin
  • Log in, check and download your marksheet
  • Alternatively, one can digilocker.gov.in to access the marksheet

CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2020: How will students be assessed

  1. For the students of both Class 10 and Class 12, who have completed all their examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance in the examinations.
  2. For those students who have appeared in the examinations in more than 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
  3. For students who have appeared in the examinations in only 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
  4. The board said there are very few students of Class 12, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only 1 or 2 subjects. Their results will be declared based on performance in the appeared subjects and performance in internal/practical/project assessment. These students will also be allowed to appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE to improve their performance if they desire to do so. The result of these students will also be declared along with other students, it said.
