CBSE Board Class 10 And 12 Results 2020: Board Sends Sms To Students To Download Digilocker App For Access To Marksheet

In preparation of upcoming Board results of class 10 and 12, the CBSE board has sent an SMS to students asking them to download Digilocker App to access mark sheets.

New Delhi: The CBSE Board is preparing for the release of class 10 and 12 board exam results and has asked students to download the ‘ DigiLocker App’ to access the results once they are announced. The app is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India under its Digital India initiative. The app provides an account in the cloud to those who have an Aadhaar card. It can be used to access documents such as digital mark sheet. ALSO READ| Student Safety Main Priority, But Final Year University Exams Also Important, Says UGC Secy The board has sent an SMS to students with a direct link to the app. Students can also access the mark sheet online on digilocker.gov.in. According to the SMS that was sent the roll number has to be used as a security pin. Here is how to use the digilocker app
  • Download the Digilocker app on your mobile phones from Google play store/Appstore
  • Register your self- for this, you can use the mobile phone number used while filling CBSE application form or Aadhar card number. An OTP will be sent to you.
  • Once the OTP is filled, you will be prompted for a security pin
  • As directed by the Board, use roll number as security pin
  • Log in, check and download your marksheet
  • Alternatively, one can digilocker.gov.in to access the marksheet
The CBSE has not confirmed the dates for the announcement of the results. On Thursday, a circular that said the results will be declared on July 11 and 13 went viral when news agency ANI tweeted about it. However, the claim has turned out to be false and CBSE released a statement clarifying it is fake.
