Shraddha Walkar Murder Case Live: The Shraddha Walkar murder case reveals vivid details and gets murkier with every passing day even as several teams of Delhi Police are on the hunt for evidence across multiple states. Shraddha Walkar was allegedly strangled to death by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala and then her body was chopped into 35 pieces and disposed off in Mehrauli forest. Aftab is in the custody of the police and a pre-polygraph test was conducted on him on Tuesday Night.
Shraddha Walkar lodged a complaint against Aftab at the Tulinj police station on November 23, 2020. In the complaint registered by Shraddha, she said that Aftab wanted to strangle her and cut her into pieces. In the complaint, Shraddha also mentioned that Aftab's family knew that he use to beat her and wanted to kill her.
Aftab on Tuesday left the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Rohini as the Delhi Police began court-sanctioned polygraph tests to take the probe forward.
Aftab and Shraddha met on a dating site and moved in together to a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur as the relationship grew. On receipt of the complaint from Shraddha's father, Delhi Police registered an FIR on November 10.
Subsequent interrogation of the accused revealed that Aftab killed Shraddha on May 18 after which he started researching ways to dispose of the body. He also borrowed ideas on disposal from popular crime shows on his streaming devices, Delhi Police revealed.
He also told police that he read up on human anatomy before chopping his girlfriend's body.
Police said after browsing on the internet for ways to remove all traces of his crime, Aftab mopped blood stains from the floor of the couple's Chhatarpur apartment with some chemicals and also disposed of all stained clothes. He then shifted the body to the bathroom and bought a refrigerator where he hoarded the chopped body parts, police further informed.

FSL Team Conducts Aftab's Post-Narco Test In Tihar Jail
The post-narco test of accused Aftab in the Shraddha murder case went on for about 1 hour 45 minutes in Delhi's Tihar Jail today where many questions were answered by Aftab. This test was to be done in the office of FSL, but keeping in view the security of Aftab, a team of 4 members of FSL and the investigation officer of the case reached inside Tihar Jail, where a room inside the administrative block was prepared for Aftab's post narco test.
According to the sources, after matching the polygraph and narco test, Aftab's answers in which there seemed to be a difference or doubt were once again asked. According to sources, there was no visible wrinkle on Aftab's face during the question-answer session. Aftab also told the officials that he was not hiding anything.
