Shraddha Walkar Murder Case Live: The Shraddha Walkar murder case reveals vivid details and gets murkier with every passing day even as several teams of Delhi Police are on the hunt for evidence across multiple states. Shraddha Walkar was allegedly strangled to death by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala and then her body was chopped into 35 pieces and disposed off in Mehrauli forest. Aftab is in the custody of the police and a pre-polygraph test was conducted on him on Tuesday Night.
Shraddha Walkar lodged a complaint against Aftab at the Tulinj police station on November 23, 2020. In the complaint registered by Shraddha, she said that Aftab wanted to strangle her and cut her into pieces. In the complaint, Shraddha also mentioned that Aftab's family knew that he use to beat her and wanted to kill her.
Aftab on Tuesday left the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Rohini as the Delhi Police began court-sanctioned polygraph tests to take the probe forward.
Aftab and Shraddha met on a dating site and moved in together to a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur as the relationship grew. On receipt of the complaint from Shraddha's father, Delhi Police registered an FIR on November 10.
Subsequent interrogation of the accused revealed that Aftab killed Shraddha on May 18 after which he started researching ways to dispose of the body. He also borrowed ideas on disposal from popular crime shows on his streaming devices, Delhi Police revealed.
He also told police that he read up on human anatomy before chopping his girlfriend's body.
Police said after browsing on the internet for ways to remove all traces of his crime, Aftab mopped blood stains from the floor of the couple's Chhatarpur apartment with some chemicals and also disposed of all stained clothes. He then shifted the body to the bathroom and bought a refrigerator where he hoarded the chopped body parts, police further informed.

In fact, Aftab's post narco test was conducted so that it could be known whether the answers given by Aftab during the narco test would be the same during the post narco test as well or not.

Now the Delhi Police will file a charge sheet in the Shraddha murder case in the court as soon as possible.

FSL Team Conducts Aftab's Post-Narco Test In Tihar Jail
The post-narco test of accused Aftab in the Shraddha murder case went on for about 1 hour 45 minutes in Delhi's Tihar Jail today where many questions were answered by Aftab. This test was to be done in the office of FSL, but keeping in view the security of Aftab, a team of 4 members of FSL and the investigation officer of the case reached inside Tihar Jail, where a room inside the administrative block was prepared for Aftab's post narco test.
According to the sources, after matching the polygraph and narco test, Aftab's answers in which there seemed to be a difference or doubt were once again asked. According to sources, there was no visible wrinkle on Aftab's face during the question-answer session. Aftab also told the officials that he was not hiding anything.
Told Same Truth In Narco Test As Told To Delhi Police: Aftab To FSL Team
After the completion of the narco test, Aftab, accused in the Shraddha murder case told FSL and the team of doctors that he told the same truth in the narco test which he said in front of the Delhi Police. According to the sources close to ABP news, about 30 questions were asked from Aftab during the narco test.
Aftab spewed out the serial story of the murder in the narco test. My truth is what I have said and I am not lying, Aftab said.

Forensic Team To Visit Delhi Jail For Aftab's 'Post-Narco Test Interview'
After the narco analysis test of Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, was completed on Thursday, a four-member team will visit the Central jail tomorrow for the 'Post-Narco Test Interview'. According to the prison officials, the arrangement was made keeping in view the security of the accused who has recently attacked outside the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) office in Delhi.
"Four member team of Forensic Science Laboratory and Investigating officer will visit the Central jail tomorrow for the 'Post-Narco Test Interview'. This arrangement has been made given the high risk involved in the transportation of Aftab," the prison officials said.
Aftab's narco analysis test was conducted at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in the national capital's Rohini, Delhi Police officials said earlier today.
Aftab was brought by Delhi Police from Tihar jail where he is currently lodged, to the Rohini hospital around 9 am for a narco test after a Delhi court permitted the analysis. The narco test was conducted by a team of FSL officials which includes a photo expert, forensic psychology expert and one doctor of forensic medicine, and the Nodal Officer, Narco, Ambedkar Hospital.
Delhi Police said that earlier during a polygraph test conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory office in the national capital, Aftab had confessed to killing Shraddha in May this year and chopping her body into many pieces. He is also alleged to have stored the chopped body parts in a refrigerator and gradually disposed them of.
