Haryana: 3 Men Kidnapped, Raped Minor For 20 Days In Jind, All Accused Arrested
A 15-year-old was abducted and raped by three men for 20 days in Haryana's Jind.
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped for 20 days by three men in Haryana's Jind. The teen was rescued by the police. The accused have also been arrested. The girl went missing around 20 days ago, prompting her father to file a complaint, news agency PTI reported on Thursday, citing police.
According to the PTI report, a case of kidnapping against unknown people was registered, and during the investigation, the names of three men surfaced. Two of the accused are from the victim's village, while the third is a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
The girl told police that after she was abducted, the three men raped her.
The accused have been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including kidnapping and rape, as per the report.
On the same day, another rape report came in from Jind, claiming that a man raped a minor girl in a hotel, PTI reported citing police. As per the report, a case was registered against the accused, a Hisar resident, under the POCSO Act and other sections of the IPC after the girl's mother filed a complaint.

The woman alleged that the accused lured her daughter to the hotel where he raped her. Additionally, the accused threatened the minor with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone, the PTI report said. When the girl's health deteriorated, she told her family about her ordeal.
In another case, the bodies of two girls were discovered hanging from a tree in a field near the brick kiln where they were employed in a village in Kanpur's Ghatampur area. Additional CP (law and order) Harish Chandra said their family alleged that the minor girls were raped a few days back by the contractor of the brick kiln, Ramroop Nishad, (48), his son Raju (18) and nephew Sanjay (19).
