Delhi Man Conspires With House Help To Kill Father Over Property Dispute, Dumps Body In Drain
A man conspired with a servant and his son to murder his father, for which he paid them Rs 30,000. They dumped the body of the elderly man in a drain in Delhi.

An elderly man was killed by his son in a conspiracy with the family's former servant and the servant's son. They stuffed the man’s body in a gunny sack and dumped it in a drain at Narela in northwest Delhi.
According to The Times Of India (TOI), as per the initial investigation the motive seems to be a property dispute between the son and his father.
Ramesh Bharadwaj, 67, had left on his scooter on January 28, however, his daughters were worried that he was abducted and filed a missing person complaint on January 29.
After the police began their investigation, they came across CCTV footage which showed Bharadwaj last at the rented accommodation of his servant, Jitender, 47. Police questioned several individuals including his family members. Their suspicions grew when Jitender and his 19-year-old son, Vishal, were nowhere to be found, and Vishal’s phone was switched off.
With the help of technical surveillance and social media tracking, police identified another mobile number being used by Vishal. A search operation was launched during which Vishal was apprehended. Upon being interrogated he admitted that he and his father had murdered Bharadwaj.

Then they stuffed his body in a gunny sack and dumped it in a nearby drain on the same day.
Based on this disclosure, police recovered Bharadwaj's decomposing body on Wednesday from the drain.
According to TOI, Vishal claimed the murder was planned by Love Bharadwaj, 35, the deceased's son.
According to police sources, Love was upset with his father for favouring his daughters in family matters and had been pressuring him over property transfer. The situation escalated when the father filed an application under the Protection of Senior Citizens Act, seeking to evict Love and his family from the house.
"To prevent being thrown out of the house, he plotted his father's murder and offered money to Jitender for the job," a police officer told TOI.
Love had paid Jitender Rs 35,000 as advance for executing the murder. The post-mortem report confirmed that strangulation was the cause of death. Police registered a case under Section 103 (murder) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The Bharadwajs worked together at their family-owned rubber factory and dry-cleaning store. The main accused, Jitender, who was once a servant of the Bharadwajs, had since become a scrap dealer, where Vishal assisted him.
