Ayodhya: Youth Found Dead In Hanuman Temple With Throat Slit. FIR Filed

A youth was brutally killed in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh by having his throat slit last night. According to reports, the youth was murdered yesterday night while he slept at the Hanuman temple close to his home, news agency ANI reported.

The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder. The deceased, who lived at the home of his maternal uncle Shivnarayan for around two months, was said to have been an Amethi native of Shivratanganj.

"Body of youth, with slit throat was found inside Hanuman temple premises in Bhuapur village. Victim is r/o Amethi, used to sleep in temple sometimes. Post-mortem being done, FIR registered, investigation underway," Satyendra Bhushan, Circle officer, Milakpur, Ayodhya was quoted by ANI on its official Twitter handle.

After learning the details of the incident, the police officers who came performed a panchnama of the site and sent his body for a post-mortem examination.
