While the markets are typically closed on Saturdays and Sundays, exceptions are occasionally made for special events such as the Union Budget presentation. In May, the stock market will observe 10 holidays. Investors will not be able to place any trades in the market during these days. Apart from weekend holidays, the markets will also remain closed for Maharashtra Day.
