Indian equity markets will observe an extended break this weekend, with trading activity paused for three consecutive days. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Good Friday. As the closure coincides with the weekend, regular market operations will resume on Monday, April 21, 2025.

As per the trading calendar, there will be no activity in equities, equity derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments on April 18. This temporary halt applies to all sessions and processes, including settlement activities.
