Delhi Entrepreneur's Post About 'Sleepless Nights' For Dream Life Sparks Online Backlash

However, the post drew criticism from many social media users who accused him of fostering an unhealthy obsession with success and wealth. Some argued that he was placing undue pressure

Kushal Arora, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Delhi, has sparked an online debate with his recent post about the sacrifices he's made in his quest for success. He detailed his long working hours and chronic lack of sleep, portraying these choices as essential steps toward achieving his "dream life.”

In his post, he outlined his gruelling work schedule, often staying up late and missing social events. Arora suggested that this demanding lifestyle is a crucial part of his journey to success, intending to motivate others to embrace a similar path.

“I am 23 years old, earning over $500,000 annually. While others my age were partying, I was working sleepless nights, missing out on social activities, and dealing with failures. But I made that choice,” he stated.

However, the post drew criticism from many social media users who accused him of fostering an unhealthy obsession with success and wealth. Some argued that he was placing undue pressure on younger generations. One commenter pointed out, “Many 23 year olds are still partying, chilling, figuring out, and taking it easy! Kudos to you for setting a great example to this generation.”

Another user challenged the entrepreneur's perspective, stating, “Just because this approach worked for you doesn’t mean it applies to everyone. There are different paths to success, and not everyone should be forced to chase wealth at the expense of everything else.”

The post also ignited a wider discussion about work-life balance, with many emphasising the importance of mental and emotional well-being. One individual urged the entrepreneur to prioritise personal growth beyond financial success, stating, “Brother, many students of your age were also studying and working at that time, but they weren't telling you about it. It's only the parties that are posted on insta stories.”

Another user added, “If I had this much money and a business, I wouldn’t be wasting time talking about it on Twitter to taunt others. I’d be travelling and actually experiencing and enjoying life while working. Too busy immersed irl to bother if other people are doing the same. Feel sad for you.”
