Cryptocurrency price on May 1 quick take: The global market cap dipped to $1.18 trillion as top coins slide.
Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest and most-valued crypto, dipped below the $29,000 mark early Monday after a consecutive few days of gains. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Litecoin (LTC) — landed in the reds across the board. The Casper (CSPR) token managed to remain the top gainer for the second consecutive day, with a 24-hour gain of nearly 5 percent. SingularityNET (AGIX) turned out to be the biggest loser of the lot.
The global crypto market cap stood at $1.18 trillion at the time of writing, registering a 24-hour dip of 2.13 percent.

Bitcoin price stood at $28,437.43, registering a 24-hour dip of 2.79 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 25 lakh.
Ethereum (ETH) Price Today
ETH price stood at $1,846.30, marking a 24-hour loss of 2.91 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.63 lakh.
Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today
DOGE registered a 24-hour dip of 3.11 percent, as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.07895. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 7.
