Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Dips Below $66,000, ENS Remains Top Gainer
Cryptocurrency price on July 24 quick take: The global market cap dipped to $2.4 trillion.
Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, dipped below the $66,000 mark early Wednesday. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Litecoin (LTC) — mostly saw minor losses across the board as the overall Market Fear & Greed Index stood at 60 (Greed) out of 100, as per CoinMarketCap data. The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) token remained the biggest gainer for the second consecutive day, with a 24-hour jump of over 3 percent. CORE became the biggest loser, with a 24-hour dip of over 11 percent.
The global crypto market cap stood at $2.4 trillion at the time of writing, registering a 24-hour dip of 1.98 percent.

Bitcoin price stood at $65,923.47, registering a 24-hour dip of 2.08 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchanges, BTC price stood at Rs 45.03 lakh.
Ethereum (ETH) Price Today
ETH price stood at $3,437.50, marking a 24-hour dip of 0.99 percent at the time of writing. Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 2.13 lakh.
Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today
DOGE registered a 24-hour loss of 4.70 percent, as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.1309. Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 8.91.
Litecoin (LTC) Price Today
Litecoin saw a 24-hour gain of 0.75 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $72.36. LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,023.08.

What Crypto Exchanges Are Saying About Current Market Scenario
Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel told ABP Live, “Bitcoin witnessed considerable volatility in the past 24 hours as prices briefly dipped below the $66,000 mark. This is accompanied by Mt. Gox moving significant amounts of Bitcoin between wallets. The cryptocurrency is currently facing immediate resistance at $67,401, with support at $64,874. Ethereum also exhibited volatility amidst the green light for ETH ETF trading. Overall market sentiment remains optimistic.”
CoinSwitch Markets Desk noted, “The biggest news of the day remained the trading start of Ethereum ETFs with ETH ETFs totalling a volume of 1 billion dollars on day one of trading. Grayscale leading the charts once again with 484 million dollars worth of outflows, which is close to 5% of the total fund value. Overall, a net USD +165 million inflows were seen in Ethereum ETFs.”
Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin, said, “The global cryptocurrency market cap has witnessed a slight dip of 1.78%, now standing at $2.4 trillion. However, total trading activity has picked up in the same period with $87.67 billion, making a 1.77% increase. BTC’s dominance stands at 54.29%, down by 0.19%. In Budget 2024 crypto tax regulations remain unchanged, it could act as a double-edged sword. Furthermore, the U.S. spot Ether ETFs have recently made their market debut, making significant milestones. This move is expected to enhance market participation and could boost investor confidence, as institutional interest in cryptocurrencies continues to grow.”
Sathvik Vishwanath, CEO and co-founder of Unocoin, said, “Bitcoin (BTC) faced volatility and fell to $66,500 during the highlights. Mt. Gox transferred 42,587 BTC ($2.85 billion), impacting prices, along with US government moves totalling 58.74 BTC ($4 million). Hong Kong has launched Asia's first bitcoin futures inverse ETF, likely increasing selling activity using a short-selling strategy. Meanwhile, the approval of the Ethereum spot ETF may increase its price by 24%, indirectly benefiting Bitcoin. BTC is currently trading at $66,563 and has a neutral RSI of 51, with critical support at $66,662. Resistance levels are at $67,581, $68,507, and $69,253, while support lies at $66,385, $65,830, and $65,120, shaping BTC's short-term outlook.”
