Commercial LPG Cylinders Become Cheaper, ATF Prices Hiked. Check Exact Rates
From today, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder stands at Rs 1,797 in Delhi. Similar reductions will also be implemented in other cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper after the government announced a reduction of in their prices on Saturday. The oil marketing companies (OMC) informed that commercial cooking gas cylinders of 19 kg will now cost lower by Rs 7 per cylinder. The new prices come into effect immediately, from February 1, 2025.
From today, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder stands at Rs 1,797 in Delhi. Similar reductions will also be implemented across the country in other major cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.
Notably, the price of the commerical cooking gas cylinder in the capital stood at Rs 1,818.50 in December 2024. This revision is expected to bring relief for commercial establishments. Notably, a reduction in the commerical LPG rates was announced a month earlier on January 1, 2025.
LPG cylinder prices are determined by multiple factors such as oil prices at the worldwide level, foreign exchange rates, supply and demand environment, and taxation policies.
ATF Prices Hiked
Meanwhile, ATF became more expensive as the authorities hiked the price of the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by 5.6 per cent. This revision takes place on a monthly basis and is decided on the basis of benchmark international prices.

Now, ATF price will increase by Rs 5,078.25 per kilolitre or 5.6 per cent to Rs 95,533.72 per kl in the national capital, state-owned fuel retailers stated. The impact of the hike in jet fuel prices will be felt heavily by domestic airlines as fuel accounts for almost 40 per cent of their operating cost.
These revisions are announced at the beginning of each month. The changes in the price of cooking gas and jet fuel are issued by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL).
