Upcoming Honda SUVs For India: ZR-V & BR-V | Check Full Review & Specifications | SUV RS Concept

The BR-V is a more practical SUV but looks better and has modern interiors with more technology now. Read full review below.

At the ongoing motor show in Indonesia, there are plenty of interesting new cars for our market in the future. Honda, for example, has shown a new SUV concept which points at a future compact SUV along with a strong probability that it will be launched in India.

Called the SUV RS Concept, it is a futuristic show car at the moment but it will be a new SUV called ZR-V. The ZR-V would be the production version of this concept while being a sporty Creta/Seltos rival. As a concept, you can see that Honda has tried to make it sportier and more appealing in being a design which is different from others. It does look sporty and compact with the roofline designed to flow sharply.

In other words, the ZR-V would be a fairly good looking car if Honda makes the production version like this only. There is plenty of nice detailing like big wheels, cladding, roof-rails and the headlamps matching the grille along with sharply cut fog-lamp enclosures. We expect the production versions to carry the same engines as the City with a diesel or a petrol 1.5l.

The other new SUV is the BR-V which gets a generation change and is much better looking than the previous model which was also sold here. The BR-V is a more practical SUV but looks better and has modern interiors with more technology now.

This is a three-row SUV and could rival MPVs or other SUVs in India. The new generation model gets the Honda City like lane-watch feature and the new touchscreen while Adaptive cruise control is also present alongside more ADAS features.

With demand for three-row SUVs increasing, we can see the new BR-V coming here. As of now, these two new Honda SUVs do make sense for India and Honda is bringing an SUV to our market with an early 2023 launch. Let's hope it comes sooner rather than later since compact SUVs are currently a very popular space and Honda does need a product there quite fast.
