Skoda Kylaq Prices Slashed But Also Increase For Some Variants

The Kylaq now starts from Rs 8.2 lakh in place of Rs 7.89 lakh which was earlier. That aside, the Signature trims have also received a price increase at Rs 10.95 lakh in place of Rs 10.59 lakh.

The Kylaq has done well in its initial first few months on sale while now post the introductory period being over, prices have been revised for this sub 4m SUV. The Kylaq now starts from Rs 8.2 lakh in place of Rs 7.89 lakh which was earlier. That aside, the Signature trims have also received a price increase at Rs 10.95 lakh in place of Rs 10.59 lakh.

However, the top-end Prestige and Prestige AT trims have seen a reduced price to the tune of Rs 40,000 plus. Hence, the Kylaq is now priced at Rs 13.99 lakh for the top-end trim with the automatic. With the Kylaq being the best selling Skoda, sales for Skoda India overall have increased. Hence, the Kylaq is currently doing more than 5,000 units a month.

Skoda Kylaq Prices Slashed But Also Increase For Some Variants

With this price revision, the Kylaq is more affordable and makes a great case for itself with the top-end trims being lesser priced than rival sub 4m SUVs. The Kylaq in India comes with a 1.0l turbo petrol AT and manual trims while it comes with features like powered seats and more.

The Kylaq despite high competition has been selling in relatively big numbers while this price cut will further add to the sales of the car. While the entry variants were in demand, we feel the price increase isn't huge  although that does make it priced higher in terms of the entry level variants when compared to other SUVs.
