Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 To Get More Features? Check What's New

The new generation Swift gets more features similar to the Baleno which includes a 9-inch touchscreen with connected car tech plus rear AC vents, wireless charger and more

As Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to launch the new Swift in a few days, we have learnt that it will get a lot more features as compared to the current model. The new generation Swift gets more features similar to the Baleno which includes a 9-inch touchscreen with connected car tech plus rear AC vents, wireless charger and more. Crucially, it could get 6 airbags as standard as well with more safety features on offer.

The equipment list in fact mirrors the Baleno although it would miss out on a heads up display while unlike the global Swift, it will come with a standard manual handbrake. It could get a 360 degree camera too while an Arkamys surround sound system is most likely to also make the feature list. It will get climate control too. The new Swift overall has more features and would be launched on the 9th of May with bookings open for Rs 11,000 across dealerships.

The adding of new features is crucial since these days, across segments, more features are sought after by buyers. The new Swift gets an evolutionary design language but looks more sportier while it will get significant changes too. In terms of the powertrain, there would be a new Z series 1.2l petrol engine which would replace the current unit with more fuel efficiency.

Of course, it would be a mild hybrid unit  while standard would be a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an AMT automatic. It will not get a CVT automatic as like the Baleno, it will get an AMT automatic which would be efficient although it would be tuned differently over the current Swift. We will have more details of the new Swift leading up to its launch in a few days time.
