If I Am Not Elected In 2024, It Will Be My Last Election: TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu
Naidu reminded people at the roadshow of his pledge, saying the next election will be his last if he is not voted back to power.
TDP supremo and opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu said at a roadshow in Kurnool district on Wednesday that the 2024 elections would be his last if people did not elect the Telugu Desam Party to power.
Alleging that the ruling YSR Congress insulted his wife on the floor of the House, the Leader of the Opposition vowed on November 19, 2021, to return to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly only after regaining power.
Naidu reminded people at the roadshow of his pledge, saying the next election will be his last if he is not voted back to power.
Naidu slammed the YSR Congress government for misleading the people in the name of three capitals. He asked, "How can the YSR Congress government build three capitals when it can't even repair and fill potholes on the state's damaged roads?"

The government was playing a three-card game with the state and fooling the people with unwanted statements instead of concentrating on development, he alleged.
Naidu claimed that as former chief minister, he donated 10,000 acres for the establishment of an industrial hub in Orvakal, but that no progress has been made in the last three and a half years. He stated that the Andhra Pradesh government borrowed money recklessly, trapping the state in debt.
He also claimed that the police officers, particularly CID, had become ruling YSRC activists. The public was coming forward to tell TDP leaders about their problems during the YSRC regime, and the people were preparing to teach the Jagan Mohan Reddy government a lesson in the next general election, Naidu added.
