The viral video shows Hanumanth, with his group of friends and the ‘accused’ classmate at the Peddakabadur Police Station in Kurnool, asking the police personnel to register a case against his classmate who has been stealing his pencils and refusing to give them back.
The police official, who can be heard engaging in a detailed conversation with the ‘complainant’, gave an overview of what a police complaint would lead to. He can be heard telling Hanumanth that a police case would land his classmate in jail and that he should ‘show a large heart’ and forgive him. However, Hanumanth, adamant about punishing the ‘accused’ friend asked the police to at least summon the accused’s mother to the police station.
Finally, the two can be seen shaking hands on reaching some sort of an agreement.
Sharing the video, Andhra police tweeted that the state police remains number one in SMART Policing in the country according to Indian Police Foundation Survey and that this incident testifies the fact and demonstrates the confidence in the police.
