Andhra Pradesh: Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan Calls CM Jagan ‘Andhra Thanos’

The Jana Sena chief said a third alternative in the political spectrum is always necessary for the State and the Centre.

Hyderabad: Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan blamed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for cheating people in the name of the 'Navaratnalu' Scheme at the Jana Vani programme on Sunday. Pawan Kalyan referred to Jagan Mohan Reddy as "Andhra Thanos" during the meeting. Supervillain Thanos can be found in the Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios films.

According to him, the Chief Minister believes that his 'Navaratnalu' is benefiting the welfare of the people. In actuality, he has done the State's future harm. "YSRC leaders frequently refer to me as the ‘Dattaputrudu’ (TDP's adopted son). Now that the state has been destroyed, I want to name the AP CM after the Marvel figure Thanos," he remarked.

The Jana Sena chief said a third alternative in the political spectrum is always necessary for the state and the Centre. “If Praja Rajyam Party was not disbanded after its existence in 2009, Andhra Pradesh would have an alternative," he added.

"I supported the TDP in the 2014 elections based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's word. Additionally, I only pledged my support to the TDP after its leader N Chandrababu Naidu paid a respectable visit to the Jana Sena Party office," Pawan Kalyan told reporters.

He stated that the strategy of Jana Sena is to end the YSRCP rule and make sure that it doesn't come to power in the 2024 Assembly elections at any cost.
