Andhra Pradesh Govt Imposes Night Curfew As COVID -19 Cases Rise
It was suggested that only 50 per cent capacity should be allowed in theatres.
Hyderabad: In the wake of increasing Covid-19 cases, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday announced a night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am in the state.
The chief minister conducted a review meeting with the officials of the medical health department.

He inquired about the precautions that were being taken in the state to fight Omicron variant. He further instructed the officials to prepare medicine kits for patients after consulting medical professionals.
He ordered the concerned authorities to ensure 104 call center was available for people and immediate action should be taken against the grievances.
He instructed officials to set up a Covid Care Center for every constituency. Authorities were ordered to impose fines if masks were not worn. The chief minister also inspected the state-of-the-art medical equipment set up by the Medical and Health Department at the CM's camp office and inquired about its functioning. Doctors described the performance of over 20 types of high-end equipment.
Apart from these, CM Jagan inspected the progress of the construction work of medical colleges and the photo gallery for setting up PSA plants. He also inaugurated cryogenic oxygen containers, LMO tanks, oxygen pipelines and other infrastructure, including 144 PSA plants with a capacity of 93,600 LPM at the cost of Rs 426 crore.
