Wreckage of missing IAF AN-32 plane spotted after eight days
Eight days after AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force went missing with 13 people on board after taking off from Assam's Jorhat, the wreckage of the same was spotted in a heavily forested mountainous terrain in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The IAF said efforts are on to establish the status of occupants with Helicopter undertaking search in the expanded search zone. The rescue operation with the help of choppers has commenced from today, while the operation by ground forces is underway since last night, IAF informed on Twitter.
