Unnao Case: UP Police Suspend Three Cops Provided To Victim As Security

The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the transfer of five cases from Unnao to competent court in Delhi.  The apex court said the designated judge in Delhi will commence the trial on day-to-day basis and complete the trial within 45 days. While reading the order, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi said the shifting victim and lawyer to AIIMS in New Delhi can happen if the family wants.

The 2017 rape survivor and her lawyer are undergoing treatment at the Lucknow hospital after their vehicle was hit by a truck on Sunday.
