Spider in Indian parliament’s canteen food raises eyebrows
New Delhi: Parliament’s canteen, which is known for serving food to our lawmakers at very cheap rates, has again made it to the headlines; this time for serving a huge spider along with the meal. As per an employee working in the parliament, a spider was found in his Pongal, which a dish made from rice, generally consumed in Southern India. As per the complaint filed by the employee, he took ill after consuming the ‘poisoned’ pongal dish served at Lok Sabha canteen.
