Rajkot Gaming Zone Fire: Police officer suspended for renewing license without probe | ABP News

Amid the ongoing investigation of Rajkot gaming zone fire incident, one police officer has been suspended for renewing the license of gaming zone without any probe. On Rajkot accident, Police Commissioner Raju Bhargav said that we have registered a case against 6 people. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 304, 308, 337, 338, 114 of IPC.

An investigation has also revealed the game zone had rubber and resin flooring, polystyrene sheet partitions, and over a thousand tyres around the car zone, creating a highly flammable environment.

In the CCTV footage, people can be seen running towards a blaze at the top of a stack of some materials — seemingly wood or polystyrene (thermocol) sheets — to try and snuff out the fire. View from another camera shows workers removing a few things surrounding the fire.
