Mamata Banerjee to announce WB budget today, likely to announce package for farmers

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will present the budget this time. This is the first time in West Bengal that a budget will be presented to a chief minister. Significantly, this is the last budget of the Mamata government before the assembly elections. Being the last budget, it is believed that many big announcements can be made for the people of the state by  Mamata Banerjee.
