Himanta Biswa Sarma, the CM of Assam, went and greeted the rogue MLAs of Maharashtra currently residing in Radisson Blu, Guwahati. 

 Saamana, a newspaper launched by Bal Thackeray, has commented that BJP is trying to set its roots in Maharashtra. It claims that "BJP is sitting on Eknath Shinde's shoulder and controlling "Mission Lotus".
